Djursholm

Svenska tack! - Deutch bitte!

The convent of the Bridgettine sisters in Djursholm belongs to the Order of the Most Holy Saviour
(O.Ss.S.) which was founded by Saint Bridget in the 124th Century and by blessed Mother Elisabeth Hesselblad in 1911.
The convent of the Bridgettines was founded in Djursholm in 1923. The buildings of today however were erected in 1973.

In an open and respectfull attitude, the sisters welcome singular guests and groups in need of spiritual or fysical rest and recreation.     According to the Monastic tradition the first obligation for the sisters is to uphold the liturgical prayers at the canonical hours.
Every guest, who wishes is welcome to the services, which take place in the sister's chapel.
