Welcome to Birgittagården! Birgittagården is beautifully situated near lake Runn – the second largest lake in Dalarna. The house has been re-built in 1945 and renewed since the Brigettine sisters settled here in 1968. In 1989 a new annex was built.
	Birgittagården is a convent belonging to the Order of the Most Holy Savior, founded by St. Birgitta in the 14^th century and by blessed Mother Elisabeth Hesselblad in 1911.
Laudes at 6.30 a.m.or 7.15 a.m. Mass Sunday at 8.30 a.m., Tuesday and Thursday at. 4.30 p.m., Saturday at 8.00 a.m. Vesper  at 4.30 p.m. Completorium at 9.00 p.m.
Road Directions Birgittagården is located some 8 km from Falun. From the main road to Gävle, exit and follow the road to Hosjö.
In an open and respectful attitude, the sisters welcome singular guests and groups in need of rest end recreation. The chapel is always open for silence and private prayer. Everyone that wishes is welcome to the sisters liturgical prayers.
